Help with the right moisturizer & facial care?

if you can, pl. try to answer these few questions of mine.

do you choose the type of moisturizer based on how your skin handles it - ok, this is a must - but i have a problem with choosing the right one because Nivea for ex. has the sun protection included while L'oreal's Happyderm I think doesn't and also L'occitane I think doesn't. so what do you go for.

do you think it's wrong to use a product for kids - L'occitane's honey moisturizer for instance.

as far as the night moisturizer goes: should you use the same brand at night or can you use a different one - is that bad for skin

can you use a moisturizer more than once per day

thanx so much.Help with the right moisturizer %26amp; facial care?
I use to think you shouldn't use a moisturizer because it will cause more oil on face. You have to make sure what your skin type is. To determine is id you have often breakouts or breakout a lot then your skin type is combination to oily. I found out that it is very important to moisturize twice a day and everyday. Moisturizing at night shields your skin from dirt in the air and prevents from oil from getting out. Instead of getting two types of moisturizer one for day and one for night since that will cost you more money just get one type instead which is one with spf (sun protection) Products for kids are formulated for kids skin type. Adult skin are very different from kids. Pores are larger and more layers of skin. As for the same brand or not you should use THE SAME BRAND. Only reason is each brand is fomulated for the skin to react right after the use of another after another. So best way to clean skin is to cleanse, tone and moisturize USING THE SAME BRANDS. You need a really good skin care product that will keep your face oil and shine free for up to 12 hours to prevent less breakouts. This skin care system ha been proven also to minimize your pores. The larger the pores are the more you produce oil from pores and the more you will have breakouts.Prevention is the key to clear skin. This is what I use so I get less breakouts. http://cgarcia1.qhealthbeauty.com/produc鈥?/a>

For facial care you should also use an at home alternative to microdermabrasion which is this. http://cgarcia1.qhealthbeauty.com/produc鈥?/a>

I use Olay daily moisturizer with SPF15 in it because during the day my skin gets extremely dry so the moisturizer really helps out. I can apply as many times as I feel like it. If you are not sure about moisturizers your best bet is to spend that 15 minutes in the facial wash aisle and read each one. That's what I did. It's also trial and error. As far a night goes I don't use it because my skin feels goopy and sticky when I use it.
you choose the type of mosturizer based on the type of skin you have. which you can pretty much tell by feeling it and looking at it. if you have acne use products for acne, if you have dry skin blah blah blah....if you have dry cheeks but an oily t-zone (forhead nose and chin)then use a product for combination skin. Most products now adays have spf 15, but if yo go for the more expensive kinds you can find with an spf up to 45. it also depends a lot on your age. i usually use cleaners and mosturizers for normal or combination skin, and if there is one that i would recomend it would be from Mary Kay and its the creamy facial cleanser. For moisturizer i use plain old $5.00 clean and clear. works awesome for me, i would also reccomend Any of the Dove products. IF you're looking to spend more on your prducts go for the Olay line, they speacialize in these types of products and thats what you want. As for the kids products.....depending on your age again, if you're in your teens, then definatly not. your skin is unbalanced and you need more than that/ you should use a good night cream(dove has a good one) but it doesnt really matter what brand you use just make sure its for night time because your skin absorbs moisture a lot quicker when your sleeping. but using a different brand at night isnt bad for your skiin, although it would make more sense :P and you should use moisturinzer 2 times a day, morning and night.
Before you go bouncing around town, trying to find what to do. See a skin doctor first!
Moisturizer for the face should be for replenishing. If you need a sunsreen choose a seperate one for that application. Applying olay fromthe chin-up in circler motions has a better absorption than just swipe and brush strokes.
