Facial care routine?

I'm a seventeen year old girl with relatively normal skin. Sometimes it gets a bit dry---but nothing too awful. I also occasionally get some blackheads around my nose.

I don't have a set facial routine...usually I just wash off my makeup at night, and put on some moisturizer in the morning.

What's a great brand for types of facial cleansers (washing, toning, moisturizing..etc.)?Facial care routine?
proactiveFacial care routine?
Avon.
olay has great moisturizing creams.. they dont clog your pores and there are lotions for every skin type

as for facial cleansers, i use clean and clear deep clean. it makes your face a little dry

neutrogena has nice toners

i havent found one single brand name that can give me the results i want.. so i have to buy from different brand names..but they still work for me
i use st. ives apricot scrub facial cleanser every morning and nighttime and i use olay moisturizer afterwards and i use avon under eye treatment for black sags and if i get any blemishes i use clearasil spot treatment and it usually takes care of them overnight (but it dries skin out so use plenty of moisturizer)
olay is the absolute best i have used it for years like you i do not have bad skin. I use it at night and before i put my make up on, if it hasnt worked for anything else it has kept my skin healthy looking. Oh and I love tanning and the sun, and im 44 with very few wrinkles
There are a ton of risks with the chemicals in ProActiv, St Ives products, avon, and all those. If you want to know the risks, send me an email - the risks don't have to be disclosed on the labels like with tobacco, alcohol and pharmceuticals. Some of the risks include increased risk of skin cancer, birth defects and Reye's Syndrome (a lethal liver and brain disorder).

Step 1. Rebuild Dry Skin

Ingredients:

1/2 cup powdered oats (just powder in a blender or food processor)

2 tablespoons honey

1 squished gel-cap of vitamin E or about 10 vitamin E drops

1 teaspoon sunflower oil, or any other liquid oil such as olive oil

optional:

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix the ingredients in a dish. Add enough water to make a paste. Warm your skin and open pores with warm compresses. Apply to skin and leave on for 10 minutes or more. Rinse. Rub a tiny bit of liquid vegetable oil on normally dry areas.

.........................

Step 2. Routine Exfoliation

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons oats

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon clear oil (for example: sunflower, olive, jojoba, hemp)

Natural soap

Mix the ingredients together in a dish. Warm your skin and open pores with warm compresses. Use a natural soap to soap your skin. Pour the ingredients into your soapy hands and apply to your soapy face. Rub in gently, adding water to keep the mixture from drying out. The goal is to remove dead skin cells, not the living ones. Rinse. Finish with a couple of drops of clear oil applied to all normally dry areas on your skin. After 10-15 minutes, wipe off excess oil with a clean cotton cloth.

.........................

Step 3. Keep Bacteria in Check

Ingredients:

7 1/2 oz witch hazel

2 tbsp sunflower or olive oil

1 teaspoon honey

10 drops Zinc

1 tsp. vanilla or other extract (or a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil)

10 drops of vitamin E

Put ingredients into an 8 oz spray or pump bottle. Shake before use. Spray, or pump, on a clean cotton cloth and wipe face ! AVOID EYES !. This can be drying, so use it only a few times a day. Adjust the suggested amount of oil to suit your personal skin requirements. If you have oily skin, just cut the suggested amount of oil in half.

.........................

Step 4. Spot Control

Ingredients:

Baking soda

Honey (preferred)

Lemon juice

If you get a pesky pimple and can鈥檛 wait it out try this: After you wash your face at night, apply a bit of baking soda wet with water, honey (preferred) or lemon juice to the pimple in a tiny paste, enough to cover the pimple. Pop a little band-aid on top. In the morning, it should be a lot less noticeable or even gone. If it swelled up worse, wash your face then use an ice cube to reduce the swelling. Do the treatment at night until the pimple is gone, only one or two nights. Keep that area clean with witch hazel.

I sell natural soap on my site, sunflowernaturals, but you can get natural soaps at any natural store.
